Our story
Jeff, the owner and founder of Lakeview Decks & Railings, has been in the residential building and renovating industry for over 15 years. In 2012 Jeff and his family moved to Muskoka and he began working for a well respected home and cottage builder. Jeff worked for that local builder for nearly seven years, and during that time he benefited greatly from working alongside devoted and highly skilled craftsmen who reinforced the importance of taking pride in his work and helped to hone his carpentry skills. After working as a site supervisor for roughly four years Jeff made the leap into self-employment.
For two years Jeff took on a variety of renovation projects, but he dreamed of combining his attention to detail and appreciation for fine craftsmanship together with his love for the beauty of Muskoka to build beautiful outdoor living spaces that people would be proud to enjoy with their family and friends. As a result, Lakeview Decks & Railings was created with a commitment to crafting decks and outdoor living spaces that are custom designed to allow you to enjoy your slice of Muskoka with family and friends for decades to come.
